Ida Haxton, P.T.

I would like to introduce myself. My name is Ida Haxton. I am the physical therapist and owner of the facility. I am a graduate of The College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN. I have 12 years experience as a physical therapist. This includes three years as the Director of Rehabilitation in a hospital rehab center and eight years experience working exclusively with children and their families within the school setting.

After my experience working with children and seeing a need, I wanted to provide private practice services specifically for the pediatric population. The addition of services for adults will also allow me to work with children of special needs once they have reached adulthood, and expand my practice to include other adults as well. Providing PT, OT, and Speech services will allow for a team approach.

Having this center come together is truly a dream come true. Our facility prides itself in providing quality family centered care. We keep in mind the special developmental considerations when working with children and often work through play to achieve goals.
